okay, so i just wrote in here for about 20 minutes, hit a wrong button, and bye bye. so i can't guarantee that what happens now will be as interesting or as funny, especially since i've been through it all before. but anyway, it's been quite a while, and now i'm back to try and catch up. and i'll try not to ramble on and make this too long.
so spring break. best ever. vegas was fabulous, just as it was last year. i love the boncers, and i'm so glad i finally got to meet everyone. kate's game, borg spheres, madame tussaud's, "o" (holy freaking amazing), freemont street, red rock canyon... yay. :) and then with joe, dinner at stratosphere was really really good, although i'm almost positive that our waiter hated us. maybe cause we made fun of a lot of stuff. or because he was a jerk. whatever. but then we hit up legoland and disney in one day, the chocolate, cooking, crepes, the giant swing thing at the reno hilton. oh, i miss vacation. and i was every week to be like that. but because i'm being rather vague, here are some pictures. there's still another roll of film that needs to be the developed, but you'll get the idea. i really wish that i had written more about the trip right after it was over, because now i don't remember everything. but i did collect a whole bunch of new scraps, so maybe i'll start another book of them.
so, then i came back here. got in at insane oclock in the morning on sunday, and went to mit for the boston festival. but it went really well, and kalaniot opened, and it looked amazing. i can't even believe how far this group has come in the last 3 years. absolutely fabulous. and the director of the festival even commented on how fabulous we were. i wish i could share the video, but i don't believe that it's online anyway. but pictures of us being insane are also on that link above.
and now dm is fast approaching. and all of the chairs and going insane, ready to throw ourselves off of the bridge. but i think it's all coming together well, and we'll have a fabulous time. and if everyone registered to dance or morale just raises their assigned minimum, then we'll raise $57,000, which beats last year by $7,000, so i know that we're really going to kick last years record out of the way. :)
and then the instant dm ends on sunday morning, yael and i are leaving and getting on a bus to ny. for the ny israeli folk dance festival. and just because i know that a bunch of my readers are in ny, here's all that information. i just hope we're as good there are we apparently were in boston.
and tap things are starting to shape up. choreography is finished, things are taught, megan's stopping by rehearsal next monday to work out some lighting things. and, jen has a digital video camera, which means that aaron can make us dvds of the show, which is really really exciting. i just wish we could do that for all that shows that we've done in the past 4 years. but oh well. i still want a copy of "mack the knife", cause it looked awesome. maybe eventually.
and finally, i love tax returns. combining state and federal, i'm getting about $650 back. yay money! especially since i went to vegas, and then paid for tickets to london. bye bye money. but the london stuff is shaping up, too. and i'm getting slightly less worried about school for now, but that's probably cause i have other things here to worry about like dm and shows and stuff. whatever.
i really want to go to 7-11 and get a slurpee. but i really don't need one. and it's still insanely hot in my apartment. ugh.
